AB grade:
Aspen face veneer that meets or exceeds the requirements of A grade veneer listed in the U.S. Product Standard PS 1-07. No knots, splits or other open defects. Synthetic repairs of splits; total repairs limited to 18 or less. 100 grit final sand with no sander skip.
C grade veneers used for core and centers and B grade veneers on back.
AC grade:
Aspen face veneer that meets or exceeds the requirements of A grade veneer listed in the U.S. Product Standard PS 1-07. No knots, splits or other open defects. Synthetic repairs of splits; total repairs limited to 18 or less. 100 grit final sand with no sander skip.
C grade veneers used for core, centers and back.
BC grade:
Aspen face veneer that meets or exceeds the requirements of B grade veneer listed in the U.S. Product Standard PS 1-95. The face has no open knotholes. Knots do not exceed 1” across the grain and are tight and sound. Repairs may be wood or synthetic material and must be neatly made. Synthetic repairs are made to splits. 100 grit final sand with a maximum of 5% sander skip allowed.
C grade veneers used for core, centers and back.
Clear grade:
Whole piece aspen face veneer free from knots, knotholes, pitch pockets, open splits, and stain. No wood or synthetic repairs. 100 grit final sand with no sander skip.
C grade veneers used for core, centers and back.
Red pine CCX :
Red pine veneer that meets or exceeds the requirements of C grade veneer listed in the U.S. Product Standard PS 1-95.
C grade veneers used for core, centers and back.
Spruce CCX:
Spruce veneer that meets or exceeds the requirements of C grade veneer listed in the U.S. Product Standard PS 1-95.
