HPL means "High Pressure Laminates" . HPL is a kind of engineered plastic laminates . After the plywood has been produced, HPL is covered onto the face/back of plywood under high pressure . That’s what people call “HPL Plywood” .

HPL plywood is a kind of fire-proof plywood, because it has high temperature resistance and radiant heat resistance in addition to the other characteristics such as wear and impact resistance, water resistance, stain resistance, cleanability, durability and so on .

The common color of HPL plywood is white color, but other colors and patterns are also available, such as green color, maple wood grain style and so on .

HPL plywood are widely used in furniture and inner decoration.

Europe and USA use a lot of HPL plywood. Some other countries such as Israel also import HPL plywood from China.
