At a second auction date for the sale of the assets of the Spanish particleboard manufacturer Tablicia, which has been insolvent since October 2012, the Peruvian trading company Representaciones Martín won the bidding. According to various Spanish daily newspapers, Martín increased its bid from an original sum of €1.5m to €2.5m during the auction which was held on 22 July at the commercial court in Lugo and was thereby successful at the expense of the only remaining counter-bidder, the Spanish forestry-management company Carronza.
