The German special plywood manufacturer Delignit will fit out 122 high speed trains consisting of 866 wagons with system floor solutions. According to Delignit, the corresponding supply contract with the European subsidiary of the Japanese railcar manufacturer Hitachi has a volume that runs into the mid-million euro range. The trains are to be deployed on the British high speed lines Great Western Main Line and East Coast Main Line. The delivery of the trains will take place over several years, whereby the first three trial trains are to be put into operation in 2015.
